B. Rosters

B.1 Roster Composition
Teams have a maximum of 75 roster spots and a minimum of 10 roster spots. These spots may be filled by players from the following positions: Quarterbacks(QB), Running backs (RB), Wide Receivers (WR), Tight Ends (TE), Place Kickers(K), Team Defense/Special Teams (D/ST).

B.2 Roster Limits
There are no position limits in the PTD. Each team must be able to field a starting lineup in accordance with the Starting Lineup Requirements (B.3)

B.3 Starting Lineups
GM's have the flexibility to build and manage their teams as they see fit, however it is the responsibility of all GM's to maintain the integrity and high level of competition that has become a staple of the PTD. Therefore the following rules are in place.

B.3.A. Starting Lineup Validity
*All teams must submit a valid starting lineup each week prior to the start of the NFL game that their players are scheduled to play in.
*A valid starting lineup is defined as having all starters that are not on byes, injured reserve, retired, declared inactive up to 24 hours before player is scheduled to play, declared “out” by the team up to one day before they were scheduled to play, suspended, or any other circumstance in which the GM had evidence that the player was not going to play up to twenty four (24) hour period before they are scheduled to play (as listed on MFL).

B.3.B Starting Lineup Requirements
* Each team will start 10 players in the following positions and amounts:
1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF/ST and 4 “flex” players- (ANY combination of RB, WR, and TE)
* Examples of valid lineups: 1 QB, 3RBS, 3WRS, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF
1 QB, 1RBS, 5WRS, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF
1 QB, 2RBS, 2WRS, 3 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF
* Players are locked into the lineup once their game kicks off.
* If no lineup is submitted the previous weeks lineup will be used. This includes players that play in Thursday and Saturday games. It is the owners responsibility to remove players from their active MFL roster for Thursday and Saturday games that they do want to play.
* If a player on bye, or a player listed as out on the injury list remains in the active lineup, the team will receive a 0 for that player. Owner will be subject to league penalty for lineup violation.
* Mistakes in the starting lineup are the sole responsibility of the owner.

B.4 Player Position Eligibility
Players may be started at any position they are started at on their NFL team. However, players take up roster spots based on the primary position as shown on MFL. They score points on any offensive play according to the league scoring rules.
EX: Brian Westbrook is listed as a RB, but he can score points on a rushing, receiving, or passing play.

B.5 Lineup Violation Penalties
* Any team who starts a player on bye or who has been ruled out for the week will be subject to league penalty protocols (Section A).
* "Out" is defined as listed as out of game at least 24 hours before kickoff of said players game as per MFL website (red "o" icon)
* The PTD commissioner reserves the right to modify valid starting lineup rules to account for extreme circumstances
* It is understood that the valid starting lineup rule is in existence for the rare circumstance of owners not being competitive or trying to
influence draft position and is not meant to cover circumstances beyond the GM's reasonable control.
